I hope everybody had a nice Christmas. I left the Little White House in a rush: the weather forecast wasn't good and so I took an earlier train to be sure to be with my family for Christmas... with the cat and a bag full of presents!!! Some were still unfinished as lots were homemade this year and I spent the 8-hour train journey embroiding different things, with lots of people watching me and asking me if I thought I would be ready for Christmas!
Of course, no broadband or even Internet connexion at my grandma's... But there's the best attic where I was allowed to go have a look and I found some treasures. She looked at some of those objects disdainfully saying they were old things not fit for "modern girls" like me! Those I kept as Christmas presents from her to me: it was cheap for her and I wouldn't have been happier if she had bought me something. I can't show you pictures or anything right now as a) I'm not home to upload pictures on the blog - b) I won't bring back these items before next holidays as I will travel back home by train and I'd rather bring back my cat, who is already quite heavy!
In my last post I had written about a little cat-cident I had, so here it is:
Voici le petit chat-cident dont j'avais parlé dans mon dernier article:
I wish the last days of 2010 to be peaceful ones for you.
Je vous souhaite de paisibles derniers jours de 2010.
See you next year,
A l'année prochaine,
Little White House xxx
